Esha Gupta romanticized Designer Yoshita Yadav’s new collection ‘Oudh’ at the India Runway Week (IRW) on Saturday 17th September, at Thyagraj Stadium, New Delhi. ‘Oudh’ is a Pre Bridal Couture collection inspired by the ethereal style and legacy of Lucknow.
Gupta turned showstopper by reining the ramp in a Pink trail Lehenga sparkling with mirrors. The flowing trail gave the most dramatic ending to the show. The outfit was totally apt for someone looking to make a statement. Esha Gupta’s aura is undeniably something to watch out for. She can pull off anything and everything fabulously which she did by setting the ramp ablaze.
Yoshita Couture aims to revive the continuum of cultural legacy. In this collection Oudh, Designer Yoshita Yadav has blended the characteristic resplendence and grandeur of the ethnic with the exciting bonanza of the contemporary chic. ‘Oudh’ a pre-bridal couture collection is inspired by Lucknow and showcases the ethereal style and legacy seen in the motifs. These have been inspired from the architecture of the most flourishing and the richest period of the Awadhi history.
“For my Oudh collection, we at Yoshita Couture have used 100 per cent raw silks, woven in Varanasi and Bengaluru. In this collection, you can see a vivid representation of motifs taken from Bara Imambara, Chhota Imambara and the Rumi Darwaza,” she said in a statement.
She also feels that Gupta perfectly epitomizes her brand aesthetics. The collection turned many heads and was an enthralling experience for the audience at the recently held India Runway Week (IRW).

Summer of 2012, Yoshita Yadav graduated from NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology), India and NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), Italy. She then interned with Ace couturier Tarun Tahiliani. Eight months later, she started her label, Yoshita Couture. Over the years, she has learnt, grown and successfully built a designer womens wear brand which has an International appeal with an Indian emotion.
