Five things you definitely shouldn’t do when it comes to cosmetic surgery

What seemed to be impossible has now become possible as one can easily stop the effects of aging on the skin or opt for weight loss as well. “Cosmetic surgeries” have found the top notch for beautification and overall body enhancement. It has been a quick and easy solution to let people look their best.

However, one needs to know the proper precautions that should be followed before and after the surgery. Here are the 5 vital measures that one shouldn’t do at all when it comes to cosmetic surgery.

  1. Avoid exposing yourself to the sun– While you are opting for facelift treatment; be extra vigilant about sun protection as UVR can damage the treated area. The first few days after having a procedure, it’s best to avoid the direct sun. If you are going out, opt for a sunscreen that blocks alpha and beta sun rays. SPF 30 or 40 is sufficient as the ones with higher SPF tend to block the pores, so it is advisable to better keep them away from you.

    2. No Cosmetics– If you are going for dermal fillers or other types of cosmetic surgery on the face, it is advisable that you stay away from cosmetics as their application to the specific area can create an allergy and cause serious infections. The area of surgery should rather be kept clean and it should be washed with pure water.3.Strictly Avoid Consumption of alcohol and smoking– Consumption of alcohol and smoking should be strictly avoided even before and after the surgery. Eat Healthy Diet as diet plays an important role in surgery. A proper diet comprising of sufficient quantity of fruits, vegetables, toned milk and other light food should be consumed. In facial surgery, there is difficulty in having food so a liquid diet of soups, porridge etc. could be consumed in such case.4.Avoid Health Supplements and medicines– Do not take supplements or any other medicines and anti-inflammatory drugs like aspirin before and after the surgery, as they usually make the blood clotting hard. This can be further problematic during the surgery and increase the risk of bleeding. Similarly, intake of health supplements without doctor’s consent can lead to harmful effects.

    5.Do not involve yourself in stressful activities– After surgery, remember not to involve yourself in stressful activities such as tough fitness routine or gym activities because this will slow down your recovery and hinder your beauty care treatment to a great extent.
