Watch Kareena setting maternity fashion trends

Pregnancy is the time when most of the women prefer staying at home and avoid public gatherings. Many Bollywood actresses went off duty during their maternity period but the queen of Bollywood has some another plan. She is one star who’s got shutterbugs around not because her pre-maternity glow but her kick-ass off duty wardrobe. From 100 years of Bollywood, maternity has never a ‘talk-about’ topic and no celebrity ever cared to look stylish during ‘that’ time. Past a year, we have seen Genelia Deshmukh, Arpita Khan and Mira Rajput doing not that good job when it comes to pregnancy dressing up game. They carried more simple, subtle and comfortable clothing majorly from silhouette and flattery fabrics whereas Kareena Kapoor Khan played really well in terms of trying latest trends and creating oomph. Here are some of the tips that you can take from her on top fashion quotient.

  1. Blacks and jackets will have your back

There is no doubt about the black’s slimming magic. Keeping the elegance, sophistication and style in one single outfit can only be possible if you carry a black outfit. Kareena Kapoor Khan did a great job by including black in most of her dresses. Look at the picture from the day out with her girlfriends. She styled her black solid dress with a nice long jacket and red lips. Jackets are the true sense of knights in shining armor. Team your dresses with nice long vests, trench coats and jackets.

  1. Palazzo are savage of ethnic

Who said you should carry simple salwar kameez during the pregnancy?  Kareena Kapoor Khan carried palazzo twice when it came to ethnic attire and very much slayed it. Shararas and palazzos are better and comfortable alternatives to the complex churidars and salwar. You can also carry long skirts matched right with your kurtas.

  1. Off shoulders in off duty

The two off-shoulder dresses that kareena chose are perfect revealing right amount of body part and looks elegantly comforting as well. She wore powdered blue dress by H&M and silver Steve Maiden.  The stunning girly look broke the myths of dressing during pregnancy.

  1. Flares for you

One of the most important trick for styling with a baby bump is that you should wear more flared dresses than a lines and shifts. As it breaks the eye movement and resists the concentration on the bump area. Kareena wore a stunning maxi dress with saree style draping. Along with amazing long jewelry by krishan Das she kept her look stunning enough. It was one perfect look she could carry in Lakme Fashion Week Finale.

  1. Slit oh slit

We are bound to admit that she has one of the best dressed baby bump in the town. Inspired by the Hollywood socialite Kim Kardashian, Kareena stole all the limelight by her high-thigh slit gown. She wore this dress recently with her husband Saif Ali Khan. Minimal makeup, a neck piece and bracelet very well managed her maternity look.
