According to Shilpa, she feels it’s always better to avoid eating white carbs and include brown carbs like brown (rice, pasta, sugar, bread) in the diet to stay fit and healthy. She prefers olive oil which is best for cooking and loves taking green tea and stay away from sugary fizzy drinks. Shilpa has commented on social media that, people think Indian food is fattening and high on sodium, which is so untrue. She corrects and tells that rather a simple dish like Rajma chawal is a complete meal; it has the right amount of protein, nine amino acids; which is equivalent to eating an egg.

Fit and fabulous Shilpa Shetty Kundra abides by the discreet diet for 6 days and relishes one “Cheat day” in a week to enjoy her cravings for sweet foods on Sundays and shares her #Sundaybinge. Kick start the morning by following a healthy en-route taking clue from Shilpa’s #healthybreakfast while including something “RAW” in your breakfast, like a 1/2 an avocado and tomato with scrambled eggs ( with truffle oil) and 5 seeded toast or either Fried eggs, grilled potatoes,1/2tomato,5 seeded toast with butter and Soaked almonds, walnuts and a dried fig can be the most healthy breakfast that could keep you active and energetic with this healthy start. A bowl full of salad with cranberries candied walnuts, goats cheese and beet, Steamed asparagus with sesame sauce and Gluten free basil pizza with zucchini cherry tomatoes, mushroom topped with an egg and truffle oil  can be another meal option which is healthy and a must try to have a delicious experience.
