Monsoon is welcome. Even though a relief from dry-heat to humid rain-soaked days can cause problems for the body. Here we offer simple natural drinks that keep you refreshed and rejuvenated:

Ginger chai:

Ginger chai is one of the best natural drinks for the monsoon. Ginger is a natural spice that is known for its refreshing aspect along with health benefits. Ginger cures stomach upset that is characteristic of monsoon. It brings about a soothing relief to cold and cough, sore throat and respiratory allergies that are common during the season. Ginger chai is an efficient aid for digestion as physical activities are restricted due to rains. It also relieves pain owing to rheumatoid arthritis and muscle pain that inflames during this season as it reduces inflammation.


Tulsi chai:
Tulsi or Basil leaf is one of the natural herbs with immense medicinal properties. Pomegranate Mint Cooler:


This drink is extremely high in antioxidants. You will need to blend 1 cup pomegranate along with ½ a cup of orange juice and ½ a cup of pineapple juice with a dash of mint leaves for freshness. A refreshing drink to sip and chill with the rains.



Pineapple Breeze:
This drink is prepared by blending 1/2 a cup of coconut juice with ½ a cup of pineapple juice. Add a bit of honey and rock salt to it, your pineapple breeze drink is ready.
