INTERVIEW

Aanushka Ramesh speaks on Love!

The young and gorgeous actress Aanushka Ramesh, who is best known for playing Sona in the 2016 Punjabi film “Canada Di Flight”, would be soon making her Bollywood debut with the upcoming sci-fi film “Mangal Ho” playing the female lead role of Khushi Armstrong. When she was asked a few questions about love and this special day of Valentine, this is what she had to say.

What are your views on love?
> I think love is all there is in this world, the essence of everything. We do something because we love it, we love our parents, friends, we want things because we love them So in a sense love is actually the driving force of everything in existence.

Do you believe in love at first sight?
> I think there can be a very strong attraction at first sight, but love I don’t know! At least it hasn’t happened to me I am a shy person and take a lot of time to know someone. Though someone did tell me that they fell in love with me at first sight!

What is the significance of valentine for you?
> I think every day is Valentine’s Day for me! Why should we wait only for one day in the year to declare our love. It should be done every day with the people we love, and I think we should treat everyone with love and respect. I recently lost my mom and that just made me realise how insignificant everything is, and only few things actually matter in this world. Having said that, I love all these occasions Valentine’s Day, Rose Day, Chocolate Day which gives me an excuse to hang out with my friends and have a blast! At the end of the day, life is all about having fun!

What are your valentine day plans?
> I think I will be celebrating Valentines with my work! It’s a busy month so I haven’t planned anything yet but I’m sure something will come up and I’ll hang out with my friends Last minute plans are always the most fun! And I have already missed few per-valentine bashes since I’ve been travelling.

“Love versus arranged marriage” express your view point
> Any marriage is fine as long as the love lasts! But arranged marriages are too scary! The thought of spending your life with someone you don’t even know? How did our parents do it? But I guess it may have had some advantages too because most of those marriages lasted (laughs)  My personal view is that you should know at least a little bit about a person before you decide to get married, and you always get a vibe or an internal feeling so listen to that !
