20th  Edition of Parampara Series

NatyaTarangini – Raja Radha Reddy Centre for Performing Arts presents ‘Parampara Series National Festival of Dance and Music 2016’ in Delhi. With a motive to redefine and give a platform to the country’s rich cultural heritage, they organise this event each year in autumn, for the past 19 years.

Over time Parampara has blended concerts by presenting classical geniuses under creative themes giving uniquely fresh approach to otherwise traditional art forms. This year NatyaTarangini will be presenting Parampara Series from the 30th September 2016 to 2nd October 2016 from 7 pm to 9.30 pm at Kamani Auditorium (New Delhi). The festivals will represent some of the most successful dance productions of recent times in addition to musical concerts by legendary artists. As always the Parampara Series will showcase every evening two concerts (Dance and Music). The evening will feature a Kuchipudi Indian Classical Dance by Raja Radha Reddy and Natya

The evening will feature a Kuchipudi Indian Classical Dance by Raja Radha Reddy and Natya Tarangini on September 30th, followed by Veena and Carnatic vocal by D.Srinivas , D. Sesha Chary and D. Raghava Chary. On October 1st there will be a Manipuri recital by Shri Lokendrajit Singh from Imphal and a Hindustani flute recital by Ronu Mazumdar. Finally, on the last day of the series, October 2nd, witness a contemporary dance performance by Samudra Group from Kerala followed by a Hindustani vocal performance by Kaushiki Chakraborty.
